It was brought to my attention recently that I don't always feel like I belong.  I think this has been my struggle for my whole life!  The words "I don't belong here" were words I used many times in my life.  "I don't belong here in Michigan because it's too cold".  "I don't belong here in this house because I don't fit in".  "I don't belong in this church because there has to be more".  So many times I have felt like I didn't belong.  Today I realized that I do belong!  I belong here because I chose to come here!  I belong here because I have lessons to learn.  I belong here because this is my journey, and I'm going to stay on it until it is time for me to leave.  I'm not going to let others that don't approve of what I do make me feel like I don't belong here because I do!  I am a Light sent to shine!  I am a friend as Melissa wrote earlier, here to help others shine!  To encourage!  To bless!  I belong here because I bring joy to the world.  I belong here because I bring happiness.  I belong here because I am a LIGHT SENT TO SHINE!

If you are reading this it's because... YOU ARE A LIGHT SENT TO SHINE TOO!  YOU BELONG HERE!  YOU ARE MY FRIEND, AND I AM SO GRATEFUL TO HAVE YOU IN MY LIFE!  YOU BELONG AND DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU ANY DIFFERENT!
